John. 20. 31. These are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is ye Cl ye Son of God. __ Luke. 24.32. And they said one to another did not our Heart burn within us. - while he opened to us ye Scriptures? ____

From these two tents? - probably tenets we mean to discourse of ye following Point; viz that ye Sacred Scriptures are ye great and excellent entennal means of Faith in and Love to ye Person of Jesus Cl. By ye sacred Scriptures understand all Parts thence in general both in ye old and new testament,all wh are useful and subservient to this or these ends;

tho some Parts may be more especilly adapted and subservient thereto these others.
 By Faith and Love towards our Lord Jesus Cl understand that wh is you are

divine and loving and we may add lowly evangelical.
