 commence this from that period.
During the winder 1803 _ I went to school as usual, & latter of which I was so unhappy as to be attacked with a slight fever and which continued upon me several weeks,

and after it left me I remained for several months in feeble state, but thro the Kindness of providence, I was finally restored to my strength & health, but not to that degree as I was before taken with it. One great cause, I presume, prevented of my complete recovery, the deep distress I suffered in mind, On the account of the Death of my two Sisters & a brother. Not having a sufficient faith in the mercy of God, who doth not willingly afflict, nor grieve the children of men, to submit cheerfully the dealings of his providence.
