24 distinction that took place, was the one saught at the mouth of the great Kanawha that emptied into the Ohio. The Indian army consisted of about three hundred warriors, composed of Shawanoes, Delawares, Miamies and a sub Mingoes; they were commanded by the celebrated war chief - crossed out Shawanoc war Chief Cornstalk. In this action the Indians were defeated. The number of Killed and wounded is not known.

 From 1774 until 1779 frequent dissentations? were committed by both parties, and in the autumn of the latter year, the six nations of Indians opposed General Sullivan.  Their forces and by whom commanded I have never been able to ascertain.
 The Indian army that faught Colonel Crawford on the plains of Upper Sandusky amounting to eight hundred, was composed of Wyantots, delawares, Shawanocs, Puttawatamies, Ottoways and a few Cherokees. The Indian army was commanded by a Wyandot Chief Tarhe or Crain.
 The Indians were victorious; and Colo. Crawford suffered the torture of the flames.    Two campaigns were carried on by the Amenieaus in Ohio. One commanded by General Clark, and the other by Colo. Borman.   The particulars of these two campaigns I have
