5/30/68 Dear Scribner & Great Master: Enjoyed your M.S. King Conroy memorial - 1968 & 1950 - St. Louis Reunions - Have not seen Wharton??, but have chatted with Sullivan & Biggs. Both are real intelligent people - Will you put out a new edition for "Any Place but Here," now that Congress, Supreme Court are changing the unclear?? & the laws? Wouldn't it be ironic to have the Negroes Achieve Success & Power, say in 2084 & be similar to Pierre Boulle "Planet of the Simiano??"? I wonder if there is a grand plan made for us humans, by the Fates or a great architect? What's life all about anyway, is Procreations more important than Creation?
