I have been to Northfield again with A. Whitney had a good time went with Maria to see Mrs. D She is well but looks poor and old She works hard lets her girls all go off to earn something that boy is about the same old Mr. Parsons had a brother like him that lived to be over 50 and never walked Maria has let the farm I dont much expect they will ever live there again Mr. Russell left a will Fanny lived with him over 20 years and he gave her 5 hundred dollars and his Daughter and Edward and his wife the same and all the rest to William Edwards boy Edward has behaved worse than ever since his father died lay drunk day after day and some think William is about as bad he lives in Boston Mrs. Russells children and his girls pursuaded her to wave the will and get her th?..s it is in the lawyers hands now and she may not live see the end of it I had a letter from Barnard last week Saml is better than he was in the winter but Marys health is poor I suppose he has have getting along alone S lives with his uncle White is good and steady they say I hope when you write you will let me no all about your children and grandchildren I want to no all about Almeida and her children I have thought of you this Summer I think you must have some noise living with five babies but I suppose they all love you and you them cousin Catherine is able to do her work Nathan has buried his youngest Daughter most 16 Tims wife is crazy but he keeps her rather than go to the poor house with her I hope if you do go to Ohio this fall you will come this way. besure and write how you are going and all about it. how thankful we and every one ought to be that have good affectionate children to lean on I make sad work writing but you must read it if you can and besure and write soon
