This short history, gives us two ?tuiking? instances of those who vowed to devote thems. & all their worldly substance to God - But at the same time regarded iniquity in their hearts: they had ?enet userves? - they were not universal in their dedication.  They were willing to follow the custom of Chs disciples in dedicating thems. to God by public profession - and also follow the custom of selling their worldly interests & laying it at the apos feet: Yet under all this appearance of devotedness to God - they in their hearts, secretly meant not so - their supreme attachment
