Standing Rule for Writing n.d.

I want you to begin uniformly, to reply, as soon as you received a letter fr. home. Shd. you fail to receive or return from home in one month from the time of mailing, write again. That is; write as often as every month, whether you receive or return or not. Then shd. one of our letters fail, we shd. not on that account , fail to hear from you. Shd. we think it unnecessary hereafter to write so often, we will let you know. But for the present, let the above be the Standing rule.
