whom he curses they are inses? in deed - No one can gain riches but by his consent, & then if they are gained in an ungodly way, a wise? ever follows them - the owners cannot be satissfied with them; all this seeming pleasure is like a giddy dream - which is over when the soul awakes. But godliness gives contentment with the portion God bestows, and contentment is grt-gains? - 3dly Godliness is profitable in all the mechanical arts & occupations of life - These are too many to mention - Be the occupation what it will, it is understood & enpposed? that Godliness, is carried into it - and in proportion as it is truly carried into any, the persons are blessed in the same manner as has been explained - Godliness fixes men, in ideas of duty to God & men - It forms their characters as honest, Just, industrious, faithful & true to this word - It fixes them in habits of submission to God Makes them patient,
