                I have just this minute recd yours of the 3rd I think you have reason to be thankful you are admitted again you ought to have gone directly to Mr. P. and made your excuses - we had rather have the wool back again than to sell it at the price you mentioned if you could get along without it till C. comes down which will be (he guesses) next week if you think best and can, you can sell a part of the wool and get you a pr of boots etc. - your cloth was designed for a dress coat as I thought you would need that most next summer but you can have it made which way you like best provided you have cloth enough. I think you had better get your coat made soon as you can preferably the Tailor would do it if you pay him half and get your boots with the rest of your money and you can pay him the ballance when you get it perhaps. I will send some butter or C. will sell the wool or some way to help you along moreover a young man needs a little "spending money,, by then but never mind it is rather hard rubbing just now but all will go well by and by perhaps
 I dont know what you had better study only I think you had better not undertake so many things that you cant get along with them

I expect to send this and the bundle either by Mr. E. Cutts who is going tomorrow I guess we shall send some letters by Mr. Thomas to be sent on to Boston if he dont forward them to you enquire at the place where he puts up I shall send the old coat coarse pantaloons vest and pr stockings and not the umbrella till Charles goes for I am afraid he'll break it if you can borrow one perhaps when you new
