December then. Liked it. We had 3 or 4 editorial directors in a couple of years. Curt went back to Scott, then free-lanced. W & production assistants were selecting the books to put out for a while, as there were hardly any editors. Except me, (I didn't choose) who was working on the important Witty-Botel Modern Math series. My boss had this list & the new little production editors chose! I'm now in a good job for a change!
