your bereavement, for while we know these partings are inevitable, still we are never quite ready to give up our loved ones, and so, tho we know it is all right, and in many cases, better so, yet there is always a would to be healed, and sometimes the process is slow, but one would be awfully selfish to wish them back to a state of suffering. I have never for an instant wished Lou back, tho I miss him sorely. and "Louie" is an empty word to me now.

 Write as often as you can. I am always glad to fish one of your letters out of the mail box.
