 Dennis the Menace isn't in the L.T. - or maybe it is - I don't look at the funnies any more. Anyway, I laughed over Dennis. Thanks for him.
  Last week Thursday it rained all day in heavy showers. In the middle of one, a phone call from Lake Wales came for Mrs. Renfro. As soon as it let up a bit I put on red

coat and cap and rushed over. The Renfro dog was out tearing around in a terrifying manner, barking to beat the band. As I stepped upon the back steps he grabbed my left ankle. I waved my cap at him and yelled go away. I didn't tell any of them the dog had bit me - just managed to gasp out the message for Mrs. Renfro. She shut the dog up then we came back to the phone.
