Dear Mum: More hard luck instead of money. Max was held up and robbed of $50.00 the other evening. Six months ago he lost $90.00 in a similar experience. Did not mention it at the time, as I know you have enough troubles of your own without listening to a recital of other peoples! He is thinking of giving up the work he is in now and taking an offer he has had with the American Aluminum Ware Co. which would pay $35.00 per week and expenses, also commissions on all sales.
