Sagamore Hill Dec 5th 1917

Dear Miss Wyatt, Ten years ago I have a copy of "Every one his own way" to Mrs. Roosevelt, and she has, parted with it, a poem of yours she clipped from a paper--"April Weather", but in the paper entitled "A Perfect Day". She thought it beautiful as a poem, and with a profound philosophy of life! So you see we were prepared to like these poems; and we do like them, very much.
