in religion_ dulness in the practical duties of religion, pride, selfishness, worldlyness, & vanity and attend to reading & hearing Gods word; attending the ordinances of the gospel with zeal & fervent prayer & praise They aught to put on the whole armour of light (i.e.) the whole of that holy life which the Gospel enjoins, & this would make them shine in Christs image, & prepare them to defend themself against temptations & darkness of this world-- In this way they may get ready for Heaven__ 2 They aught to be engaged to do all the good they can for others souls, seeing their time is so short & uncertain- they aught to remember that now is their only time to set an example for others; if they do not help them now they never can-- 3dly They aught to rejoice in the prospect for peace & salvation which is just ready to take place although they may not see it fully.- There has been more done in the last century to introduce the millenial day of light & glory to the church than ever was done before since Chirst ascension
