X enclosed. Rainy today. Temperature 60 degrees. Not any hard frost so far. Have to keep a small fire in the furnace most of the time. am enclosing a couple of things Malcolm made at kindergarten. Have I mentioned his going before? He started 1st of the month at Mrs. Wagner's and likes it -
all but the idea of having to go and having to do as the teacher says. He does not like to feel that he must do anything. He likes to think things over and then do his way. Fortunately, his way is generally the right way, and if not he is easy to reason with, but it takes time and patience.
One morning he said he was not going to go to kindergarten and said it very firmly. Didn't like it and would not go. Tried to find out what there was about it he didn't
like. "Well, didn't like to do everything the teacher tells me." Well, I thought, if I let him stop, he will
