Told him the doctor was coming to help the baby brother "come out" and would have to stay in bed afterwards to rest, because it was hard work to carry the baby around so long. I cannot think of anything easier than confiding in a child at such a time, but it would be a real task to deceive one, and such a bad investment for the future.
