Dear Mum & Grandmum: I hate to think of your staying closely at home in anticipation of my telegram, for I am still up and around and feel the same a usual. V enclosed.
I bid fair to rival Mrs. Lang's patient who expected in Jan. and delivered the latter part of March. At the time she told me of it, it seemed quite preposterous but I am certainly following in her footsteps. Washed my hair again yesterday. This makes the third time I have washed it so it would be clean for my confinement! You spoke some few letters ago of Mooncalf. I should like very much to read it if you a through with it. It is still listed among the 6 best sellers and was so listed all winter. Some of my newer Jack London books are very entertaining and I should like to mail you an occasional volume if you are able to take on any reading matter at this time.
