Forest across from Curtis's and the old corn field of the Dodge family has been divided into lots and is for sale. No building there yet. No signs of life yet on the lot right next to us.

Don't send me your nightgowns. I have 4 good ones and that will be enough. do not think you had better send any more oranges as this box will last us quite a

while and then the rhubarb will be coming in soon. There some in the market now, but too expensive for us. Most things are cheaper. Eggs 45 a doz.

Shall copy the recipes now and enclose them if can get thru before P.M. arrives, or company. If not, mail later. Many thanks for Erma's ticket. Sorry she is not

making payments on house regularly. Too bad to lost it as it is such a nice place.

Helen's place is in a subdivision south of college avenue, about 2 miles. Wheaton Heighs, I think they call it. Handy by auto, but quite a hike.
No, the Bruning's have not returned the borrowed books? Which ones were they? Have mailed you Pearson's and the followup letter they sent is inside the magazine. leggings rec'd. Many thanks. They fit nicely & are lovely & warm. very windy today, temp. 40 (degrees). Enjoying the oranges very much. Feel real well. Looking quite

elephantine. Much love, Katharine.
