six months or so, they would be vastly different, as there is material to work on at least, in the older boy. He plays intelligently with blocks. Have not seen many glimmerings of intelligence in the younger child, but presume they are there. he is lively enough but has a very poor facial expression. so has John, at times. I think one reason Helen does not seem able to manage them is that she has no opportunity to read.

Her husband has no
