Glen Ellyn, ILL.

 Dec. 31, 1920.

Dear Mum & Grandmum:

 On our very coldest day the lovely warm nightgown arrived, and was duly christened that night as the thermometer stood at 5 below. Many thanks Grandma dear.

It was the best possible present you could have given me as most of my nightgowns are thin, and a flannel one feels good on cold-nights. The cold snap did not last long, and it got up to 40 yesterday. We still have lots of snow left.
