of Christmas cards this morning - among them one to Mrs. Marshall, Miss Ross and to Pattie. Am using the last address, 1566 Hawthorne St. for the latter and hope either to hear from her or to have the letter returned so I can know definitely whether she is there. 

 Malcolm is fine and can hardly wait for Christmas to come. I am going to give him the box of Mr. Poole's Woodman's Alphabet, as think he is old enough to play

with them. He can recite Jes'Fore Christmas and Seein' Things all the way through, with very little prompting. Much love and Merry Christmas. Katharine
