it got up to 58 and now is 45. Plenty of sun and snappy air. The pup is male - would not have one otherwise. Are still hesitating on a name - Jimmie - Bill - Rags - Hooch - Poilu (meaning whiskers) all are under consideration. Meantime we call him Pup and probably will continue to do so. Malcolm still plays with Buddie to the exclusion of all others. He calls on Margaret frequently, but goes nowhere else unaccompanied.
