Dearest Mummie:

 Staying at the swellest hotel in Madison. Room and bath to myself. Feel quite like an heir to millions.

Saw grandpa yesterday. He is quite feeble and has a nurse at the house to look after him. His place is beautiful. such a surprise to me. Went rowing on Lake Mendota after supper and got good view of the College grounds & buildings. Can't write more now as time is limited and pen is awful.
