Mrs. Cleaver surprised me yesterday afternoon by ringing the doorbell. She stayed only a few minutes but I enjoyed her little visit very much. She spoke of you a number of times and sent her love to you. I urged her to stay but she said that Mr. C. was waiting for her at the station and that they were only out for a very short time, just to look their place over. She said the last tenants left owing over $300.00. I hope the Coles wont serve them the same way. I didn't say anything about their treatment of you in the way of prompt (?) pay-
