Glen Ellyn, ILL. May 13, 1915.

Dearest Mummie & Grandma:

 This letter would have been written sooner but I was interrupted in my preparations by the Rev. Moore of the Methodist church who called to see what church I attended. He wasn't as shocked as I expected he would be when I said I didn't go to any and was a socialist & atheist. After his call I told him I could come hear him preach sometime. He is well educated and understands socialism as well as a Methodist preacher could be expected to. I shall introduce him to Dr. Zeh and then stand back & watch the fur fly.
