Max beat both the big rugs as soon as he had connected up the gas stove - then put the two front rooms in order. The varnish had dried nicely, also the paint. We are going to occupy the north room. Just put up curtains to the west window half an hour ago. I shall make some plain white curtains for the diamond pane windows.
