Mrs. Hart did my washing and scrubbed the kitchen floor yesterday morning and excepting a few handkerchiefs, she got the clothes nice and clean. It was over two weeks since the washing had been done and she was thorough with everything promptly at twelve, so I think she did pretty well.
Mrs. Swan of the I Will Club is giving a valentine party for the ladies a week from tomorrow afternoon. Tomorrow I am to attend the convention of the Middle Western Land Association as delegate from the club together with a young girl by the name of Mrs. Foster, also a member. I'm getting to be quite a gadabout don't you think? If one wanted to go to all of the club doings and be a delegate to everything that comes up, she could be on the go all the time. It is snowing and thawing at the same time and the result is a fine mess of slush and pools of water. Do you remember the recipe for Yorkshire pudding that we used to have with roast beef? Should like very much to have it if you do. Lots of love to both, Katharine
