Dearest Mummie and Grandma

Didn't get down town yesterday after all on account of a severe rain which lasted all day, and as I was unwell at the same time, thought I had better not venture out. Went down today, however, and got my camera, one just like yours and a roll of film for it. Can hardly wait for it to be delivered so I can take some pictures. Hope they will be a success. Am enclosing the ribbon I got for you, Grandma. If it isn't what you want, send it back and I will be glad to exchange it for you. Bought myself a very pretty delicate pink crepe de chine waist, $1.95. The color becomes me and I am quite pleased with it.
I am ripping apart my old blue silk class-night dress and am going to clean it and try making it into a dressing sack.
