Dear Mum: So hot, am quite late with my letter, but had no inspiration to write before. Plenty to say, but too warm to say it. Has been 95 and even 98 in the shade for a week or more and goes down about to 86 at night. Had a call from Mrs. Lewiston and her two sisters and the husband of one last Sunday (a week ago). They stayed about an hour. Had quite a good chat with Mrs. L. She looks natural as can be. They all admired the baby. Helen and Herman drove up while they were still here. Later in the evening we drove over to their new house for the first time. It is about two blocks east of the place on the State Road where we turn north to drive into Wheaton. They have quite a commodious house, still in process of construction. They are living in it, and gradually complet
