On looking at one of your other letters I find that Cousin Nellie is Ray's wife and mother of Darwin. Is it Myrtle who is going south with you?

 I bet grandma will be tickled to death to have you back again. I enclose a letter that Nellie Zay wrote to Max. It gives a good deal of news about

herself and will give you an idea of what she is doing.

   The nuts you sent Max were indeed a welcome gift. You couldn't have sent anything that he would 

have liked better. He takes a handful every hour or so when he is at home and has a regular eat-fest. It must be lovely to live
