I haven't heard from Elaine yet so don't know whether they are still planning to come to Chicago next month or not. Yesterday was beautiful and sunshiny so Max and I took a long walk down past the river to the little park on Montrose. Saw some semiprofessionals playing tennis and watched the kids in their playground and outdoor gym.

John Bunny is coming to the Auditorium to play in a musical comedy called Bunny in Funnyland. Perhaps we will go to see him. Did you notice the big ad booming Glen Ellyn in last Sunday's Tribune? Max said he would buy one of those lots if he had the money. They are certainly very desirable if your house is equipped with a good heating apparatus for winter and screened in porches for summer. I wonder if the town sewage still empties into the lake. Seems to me they are piping it to the Desplaines river.
