until the end of the week when my throat seemed closing, so sent for the Dr - who has been attending me since. I have been in my bed now all the time, he said it was an abcess, anyhow all the hot poultices etc. took no effect, it was like a great lump of iron on my neck. so just a fortnight ago they operated, and the would is quite healed but still very swollen. The Dr. said I must go to the sea at once, so on Tuesday I came here, and am already feeling stronger. hope to remain a fortnight - unprtand? July the weather is very showery.
