August Derleth wrote to me late in life, after he read "Owl". (we used to be in the same little magazines) & reviewed it praisefully. He sent me a lot of his books, & said his psychic experiences caused his interest & belief in the supernatural - or perhaps it's only the preternatural. In any case it doesn't obliterate an interest in all else in life, & it rouses some more questions. I read that we can soon listen to records of plants sounds - "talking & singing". Right now I'm play us a record of train sounds - old engines. More good wishes. S.
