6/ she hadn't etc. etc. etc - I told her that when I said that, that I didn't know anybody was required to be on duty so I couldn't have been criticising her but that I hadn't seen her on duty at this time of the boisterous conduct that I had complained of, and I was sorry if I had hurt her feelings, etc.

 The entertainment in the evening went off nicely and all seemed pleased with it. Also I had a number of compliments paid me about my presiding, my voice, carriage, etc.

I have never told these people about my experience in holding meetings, etc. but leave them to find things out gradually - or not at all. I endorse the program.
