it wouldn't be a handy thing for me, as I never use all the minimum allowance of electricity in summer - only 8 kilowats last month and I have to pay the $1.50 just the same. But don't run off and get one for me, for maybe I'll go to Highlands or someplace after all. There is such a scarcity of living places here that I feel sorry for people who want a house and cant' get one, and that is the only way I could get ahead of the O.P.A. by renting this house and either moving into the garage apt. or renting that again, and going a little further North for awhile.

I was much interested in your account of Mr. Rinear's son. there are institutions where they educate such cases, but I presume Mr. R. prefers to have his son with him. What a pity children have to be injured by religious fanatics. More and more, me for Russia's way of caring for children!
