2/ "the Quickie." It came in plenty time, and everything was and is, O.K. Mabel came over yesterday afternoon and after a visit of half an hour, or so, had to run home to escape the shower. We are having real summer weather now, and I have transferred all winter things our to Father's trunk in the garage and vice versed the summer things into the house. Quite a bit of running to and fro.

 had a nice letter from Clare enclosing the school picture of Marlene. What a bright, attractive little girl she is! and such beautiful hair!  Clara seems to enjoy getting letters

from me, Will enclose it here in this. Must be they are making money somehow, else she wouldn't be planning a trip to Chicago this summer. I would like very much to see them. Presume you will see jr. in May.
