(2-) contribute my little might of cheer. I saw you when you first came to Los angeles and I saw you a few years ago in Chicago and I now see you verry often, and can see that you are fast failing. Breaking down under the strain of this awful persecution that is being heaped upon you, by agents of the Devil. because you have chosen to use your talent for humanity.

 I want to say that even though Judgement is rendered against you, your name and your fame still lives, and will cling to the hearts of the people, when those who are now persecuting you will be forgotten and "their seed beging bread."
  You temporarily lost many friends when McNamara's confessed.  But since Lincoln Steffens went on the Witness stand a great cloud of mystery has raised and cleared the horizon in all directions.
