I was born a fool & will be a fool to the end. I just got back from Washington when I was urging the officials to be more lenient & humane to those who if they had the power could be as nel as the rest I dont know as it did any good - I saw the President & the Attorney General & others - but whether they remember what I said after the next? ritn? amrs I dont know - probably they will not sall Mary I have had two very good visits with the president
