26 in the light of this age and in the enjoyment of its principles - who boasts of its enlightenment, civilization, morals and its freedom, who is not a debtor for all these things, to a very large extent, to the revivals which have passed into history? It belongs as much to the citizen of today to open wide doors to these agencies as to the mere Christian. There is no denying these facts - Men may cavil and call these awakenings what they please - they may stigmatize those who engage in them as fanatics - yet they are but the parents of their own good.

But there is yet another question which I must press upon every person here. If you have passed through such scenes as those I have described - and are not yet saved, let me ask why not! And of every Child of God let me ask, are you revived? If not, why not?
