Thursday 20th [21] Fine & airs from N & N W. 8 am. A strong sheaky? light appeared in the W & another but brighter & reddish N.W. 9 PM. The lyte, throwing up a halo from it 10 PM Do_ (turned out to be brush & woods on fire) paragraph crossed out

 Some years since the settlers about the Trinity, came to the determination of circumcrby? the range (which was of very latch extent for an Indian who hunts & necessarly ranges a good deal) of the Coshattas, Muscong's &c; the reason given was that, the said indians robbed catch, set fire to fences &c &c.
