The parcel post package failed to reach me in time at Decatur - I stopped at the P.O. this morning and nearly missed my car in the mad rush, but no parcel was there - at least so the clerk told me, but I felt all the time that he was lying. I don't know why he should want my rubbers and sweater, but maybe he just wanted to exasperate me. I wrote the p.m. to sent it to be at Havana or Ipava. I hope to get it before summer time.
