Dear Sir.

 I am favoured with an opportunity to send you a line, hope if you do not come here you will write me a letter by the be?es? of this. I left Randolph about two months ago. I am now living with my brother in Westmoreland. If I conclude to live abant here I shall wish you to live with me if you have been a good scholar & behave well.  I am anxious to hear from you & to know how much you have learned since I saw you. I hope you can now read the Bible & write pretty well. I hope you love to pray and attend meeting on the Sabbath. You must not forget what you learned in Vermont. Remember what my Father said to you about religion. Remember that you must die and go into the world of spirits & you will be happy or miserable, according as your conduct here.
