162 and also builded an house for the worship of the Lord and supported the worship of the Deity; well knowing that the knowledge of God and the obligations of religion were the best security of his Throne and kingdom. For God honors the nations who honor him and overthrows the kingdoms and people who reject his laws, worship, and ordinances.

  3. Magistrates [Kings ?? of fathers & queens] are also to defend the people from enemies__ to secure their peace and prosperity in all lawful pursuits and labor. They are to be themselves exemplary in all virtue and goodness, going before others in good works. _ They are to defend the oppressed, the innocent and helpless and to restrain and punish the vicious & rebellious. They are appointed for the punishment of evil doers and the praise of them that do well. 
  The duties of subjects to rulers are 

1. Subjection to their lawful authority and ready execution of all good and salutary laws.
