Dec, 25 '51 P.S. some or all to date of xmas cards

Dear Sister The day after Xmas Had a surprise for dinner My next door South gave me a Xmas dinner. I already had a Batch one of chicken noodles soup, bread and drop on top Banannas & cake. It was good turkey, dressing, Potatoes with gravey, a split buttered bun, salad & preserves of some kind at 12:30 Well I eat all but the, salad, & preserves & 1/2 bun and slept well all night. She also gave me tow boxes cookies of all shape, frosting and candy, small round colored on it, also a box of peanuts, fudge and several other kinds of candy. Also Mrs. S.M. Syder thru Sim, a box of candy split dates and a small paper cup of something am sending packed good cookies & a paper cup for you to tell what it is. The day was cool & cloudy had a sprinkle of rain to freze on it so walking was Bad. cold this a.m. now 7:56 a.m. cloudy. hope no more snow got plenty, and warmer room at 62 cut off stove at around 11 P.M. to much. so room was cold, am using lots of fuel oil.
