J.F. WALDEN HOROLOGIST

6/8 50

Dear Sister

Am sending the works for hte old wood case I did not oil the works, there is a bottle screw top in paper box no fault of mine, the red cap, baggage flunky at Jacksonville, Fla, when I gave the grip for him to put on train did not tell me there were two trains making Seneca S.C. I found this out when I went to get on train, the porter asked which train I wanted I told him I did not care as long as it got me where I wanted to go. Well the flunky went to the other train left the grip supposing I would get on it. the fellow that took care of the grips for the train I was on said he would get the grip as he had to find the fellow having my grip get it t me before train departure and having around 5 minutes, the grip was found by the conductor, and notice was sent to Avon Park as the mail carrier #1 has no one on his list, the letter was sent to me, i gave the agent here the letter to answer an din a week or so the bag came by express, well the articles as far as I could call to mind were OK am having motor to electric conditions and will shop as soon as it comes a week or so, when works are replaced in case have it oiled as the oil is what i use enough to oil clock several times keep the bottle with oil in it sealed tight and in same box. keep from frost, heat you have wont hurt it the movement is well packed and marked FRAGIL PLENTY
