Wrote to the County Administrator with enclosed air mail env. to me. Hope to get his answer this morning. I enjoyed you acc. of your trip with Marlene & Malcolm and I know they enjoyed it. Mrs. Renfro is not well and her condition seems to baffle her M.D. She goes regularly for a check up and has ever since her extirpation, but she hasn't recovered satisfactorily. She has had to work too hard and too much responsibility. The papers are still full of the Segregation problem, and in places the situation is serious. Am going through Patch again. There is one delight in getting old. If you have enjoyed a book on first or second reading you get the enjoyment all over again because it all seems new on the third! 10:30 a.m. Monday.
