Jordan Ville, July 18. 1923

Dear Cousin May:

                             Will write you a 

few lines this morning, mother dont [unclear] quite so good this morning dont believe she will last many days. I have a Domestic nurse Kenneth brought me yesterday & she is very nice & capable & am so glad I have her. The first 5 days I had Mrs. Joy who is very good but she couldn't stay longer as she had promised another place before, them I was alone 3 days, when John sister in law came for 2 days, & then alone again for 3 days. I cared for her night & day. Sister J who was here 2 nights but I had her go to bed up stairs
