Your letter with check enclosed (very many thanks for check) came yesterday and I've read it fully half a dozen times. I'm so thrilled at the thought of the portable radio you plan for my Christmas that I can think of nothing else. Yes, I received my old one back from Sears. It was damaged so it didn't give out a sound - I wrote them about it after paying the postage and repairs $10.46, and they told me to get a technician here to repair it and they would return a reasonable amount. It cost only $2.50 for the tube that was broken and I sent it to them with Anderson's bill. Have not heard from them yet, but am sure they will pay it. Some stations come in pretty clearly if the weather is fit, and others have so much interference that is is impossible to listen to them - I sat up until after eleven
