The other book, written by a Professor of Spanish language at the University of Dublin as a charming account of how he spent his vacation (not his first) in gypsying his way with his violin through a part of Spain in order to learn more of the music, folk-lore and dialects of the Gypsies. He uses a lot of Gypsy words but there is a good glossary, map and index, and I've had a lot of fun reading and looking up words and places as I go along. My only drawback has been to not be able to share it with you. You would love the charm of the story, the playing on the piano of the airs he gives, and laughing over the funny situations he describes. It would be a relief from "the melancholy stuff" that you have to endure every day at the hospital. If there was only some congenial soul in A.P. to talk it over with! I often
